A media and technology entrepreneur and investor in Istanbul

I am an Istanbul-based internet entrepreneur and investor. I am the Founder and Managing Partner of Young Turk Ventures. Previously, I have served as a Venture Partner at Golden Horn Ventures and a General Partner at iLab Ventures, Turkey's two leading venture capital firms.

Until 2008, I was the founding CEO of Mondus (www.mondus.net) a ground-breaking Turkish social network, and I ran SP Ventures, focused on seed stage investments.

In 2005, I exited SelectMinds, a category-creating leader in the enterprise social networking area, which I co-founded in 1999 and led until March 2005.

Before SelectMinds, I was a strategy consultant for seven years. I hold a BA in Economics from the University of Texas in Austin.

On the personal front, I have a beautiful wife, daughter and son - the three most important people in my life.
